Accessibility widget for digital inclusion

Equa11y makes your website more inclusive with 26 assistive adaptations and 7 one-tap profiles — added with a single line of code. No rebuild, no coding required.

The widget is running live on this page — open it from the button in the corner, or press Ctrl/+U.

  • No cookies, no tracking
  • Under 40 KB, never blocks page load
  • Doesn't touch your site's code
  • Menu in 9 languages

Why add an accessibility widget?

Many visitors don't have their own assistive software. Equa11y lets them adapt your page to their needs, right in the browser.

Reach more visitors

Around 1 in 6 people live with a disability (WHO), and many more benefit in everyday situations: glare, small screens, tired eyes, or reading in a second language.

No extra software for your visitors

They personalise your site directly; there's nothing for them to install.

Private by design

No cookies, no tracking, no data sent anywhere. Each visitor's choices stay in their own browser.

Six needs, one menu

Who it helps

Vision

Contrast, saturation, brightness, hide images.

Hearing

Caption assist for video, a visible alert when sound is playing.

Reading & Dyslexia

Dyslexia-friendly font, text size & spacing, reading guide, read-aloud.

Motor

Keyboard-navigation helper, big cursor, bigger buttons, stop animations.

Cognitive

Focus mode, page-structure outline, tooltips.

Orientation

Highlight links/headings, mute sounds, movable panel.

Built for real needs

26 adaptations for greater inclusion

01

Read aloud — including hover-to-read

Have on-screen text read out in a natural voice. With hover-to-read, a visitor just points at a paragraph and it's spoken — no selecting needed.

02

One-click contrast & text tuning

High-contrast, inverted and dark modes, plus brightness, bigger text, line/letter spacing, text alignment and a dyslexia-friendly font — all one tap, all reversible.

03

Visual comfort

Saturation control (low, high, grayscale) and brightness help visitors who find the default colours hard to read.

04

Seven one-tap profiles

Ready bundles — Dyslexia, Visually Impaired, Motor Impaired, ADHD, Seizure & Epileptic, Larger Font & View, and Blind — apply the right adaptations together in a single click.

05

Reading & focus aids

A reading guide, reading mask, focus mode and a page-structure outline help people read and stay oriented.

06

Customisable & multilingual

Match your brand (button position and accent colour), choose exactly which profiles and adaptations appear, and offer the menu in 9 languages.

Set up in minutes

Add one line of code, or use the WordPress plugin. Equa11y starts working immediately — and you can change its settings later from your dashboard without touching the code again.

Built on principle

Private by default

Equa11y makes no external requests at runtime, sets no cookies, and sends no analytics. Visitor preferences are stored only in their browser (localStorage). A clean starting point for KVKK & GDPR.

The tool is accessible too

The menu is WCAG 2.2 AA: full keyboard operation, visible focus, screen-reader labels, Esc to close and Ctrl/⌘+U to open. An accessibility tool shouldn't be inaccessible itself.

Equa11y is a strong inclusion and personalisation layer. Full legal conformance (WCAG 2.2 / EN 301 549 / the EAA / ADA / KVKK) also depends on your site's own code and content — we'll happily point you in the right direction.

Frequently asked questions

Does Equa11y change my website's code?
No. You add one line — a single script tag, or the WordPress plugin — and nothing in your site is rewritten. The menu runs in its own layer, and everything a visitor turns on can be turned off again, leaving your pages exactly as they were.
Will it slow my site down?
No. Equa11y is very light and loads in the background, so it never holds up your page. The menu itself only loads the moment a visitor actually opens it — so most visitors download almost nothing.
Does this make my site legally compliant on its own?
No tool does, and we won't pretend otherwise. Real compliance with standards like WCAG 2.2, the European Accessibility Act, the ADA or KVKK also depends on your site's own content and design. Equa11y is a strong inclusion layer that helps visitors adapt your pages — a genuine complement to accessibility work, and we're glad to point you toward the right next steps.
Is any visitor data collected?
No — no cookies, no tracking, no analytics. Each visitor's choices are remembered only in their own browser and never sent anywhere, which makes Equa11y a clean starting point for KVKK and GDPR.
Is the widget itself accessible?
Yes — that's the whole point. The menu works fully with a keyboard and screen readers, with clear focus, simple shortcuts to open and close, and labels throughout. An accessibility tool that isn't accessible itself would defeat its purpose.
Which platforms does it work on?
Any website, through a single line of code — including builders like Wix and Shopify or a tag manager. For WordPress there's an official plugin: enter your site key and you're live. It works across all modern browsers.
Can we match it to our brand and choose which features show?
Yes. From your dashboard you set the button's position, accent colour and default language, and pick exactly which adaptations and profiles appear — all without touching the code again.
